I've gotten a few e-mails in the past week asking me why I stopped blogging -- and none implying that was a good thing, thank goodness. As my excuse, I accuse .... 
"Giant" Mike Gifford, who has this habit of being enthralling and awake during my prime blogging hours of 9 to midnight.
Plus, he hasn't yet learned how to send me nasty e-mail, so I find it all the more rewarding.
