The IPCentral.Info blog reviews the state of play on eBay v. MercExchange, "likely [to] be the most important patent case for the past decade."
It also notes that the Solicitor General has weighed in supporting the equitable discretion of the district courts in deciding whether to issue injunctions against patent infringment (even though the SG supports MercExchange in the particular case), which is a big deal indeed.
