Net Neutrality and the editorialists

The AT&T/BellSouth merger has brought net neutrality back to the fore, with predictable outcries from the nation's editorial pages. The editorialists routinely deplore supposed "monopolies," excepting only newspaper monopolies, hopefully blessed and immune from antitrust scrutiny under a joint operating agreement.

The Rocky Mountain News editorial page is an exception, offering today a quite lucid and accessible essay cautioning against 'net neutrality' regulation.
